The invention discloses a new application of a semen raphani extract, and particularly relates to a new application of the semen raphani extract in preparation of a medicine for inhibiting a bacterial quorum sensing system. The extract can effectively inhibit a las signal channel and a pqs signal channel in pseudomonas aeruginosa, so that secretion of elastase and pyocyanin and formation of a biological membrane are inhibited, the bacterial virulence and pathogenicity are further reduced, and the pseudomonas aeruginosa does not easily generate drug resistance.
