Abstract | The objective of the present invention is to achieve an autonomous travel control device that generates and travels along a safety-prioritized route on that avoids passing through or approaching a dangerous area where there is a possibility of coming into contact with another mobile object. The present invention has: a travel route determination unit for generating a safety-prioritized route that avoids passing through or approaching a dangerous area where there is a possibility of coming into contact with another mobile object; and a travel control unit for executing control for causing the host device to travel in accordance with the safety-prioritized route generated by the travel route determination unit. The travel route determination unit generates a cost-prioritized route on a metric map on the basis of a minimum-cost route on a topological map and generates a safety-prioritized route by revising the cost-prioritized route on the metric map to avoid a dangerous area.
