Abstract The invention discloses an intermittent automatic suction seepage test device and method for a drainage hole or well, and belongs to the technical field of seepage of a downward drainage depressurization well at the bottom of an aquifer. The test device comprises a sand box seepage system, a water supply circulation system, an automatic suction system, a flow monitoring system, a water pressure monitoring system and a data acquisition system. According to the test method, a water column with an expected height can be formed in a drainage pipe by controlling the gravitational force of an electromagnetic gravity valve, suction negative pressure is formed by rapid drainage of the water column full of the drainage pipe, the flow of a water-bearing layer entering the drainage pipe can be increased, and the drainage efficiency is improved.
