Abstract The invention discloses a physical similar model for a special surrounding rock structure roadway or tunnel and a precise laying and excavation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of roadway or tunnel physical similar simulation tests. The problem that in an existing similar simulation test, accurate laying of a roadway or tunnel model and accurate excavation of a roadway or tunnel are difficult to achieve under the condition of a conventional physical similar simulation test on a special surrounding rock structure roadway or tunnel, so that the reliability of a test data collection result is reduced is solved. The method is suitable for constructing roadway or tunnel physical similar models with different roadway or tunnel shapes, the obtained roadway or tunnel physical similar models are complete, meanwhile, the inner contour of a roadway or tunnel through hole is regular, experiment errors are effectively reduced, it is guaranteed that the experiment result is accurate, the coal rock stratum
