Abstract The invention belongs to the field of traditional Chinese medicine chemical component extraction, and particularly relates to a simple, reliable, stable and efficient sophora moorcroftiana seed alkaloid extraction process. The extraction process of the sophora moorcroftiana seed alkaloid is optimized by combining an ultrasonic-assisted alcohol extraction method with a response surface method, and the simple, convenient, reliable, stable and efficient extraction process of the sophora moorcroftiana seed alkaloid is obtained; according to the process, the content of alkaloid in the sophora moorcroftiana seeds is remarkably increased, so that the total content of oxymatrine, sophocarpine, sophoridine and matrine in the sophora moorcroftiana seeds reaches 388.48 mg/g; compared with an optimal process scheme reported by Huhuihui and the like, the method has the advantages that the extraction rate of the total alkaloids of the sophora moorcroftiana seeds is remarkably increased, and detailed data support is provide
