Abstract The invention relates to a backlight module. The backlight module comprises a housing unit which has an accommodation space; a light source arranged in the accommodating space; an optical plate installed in the accommodating space, wherein the optical plate has a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface and a surrounding edge connected with the first surface and the second surface, a first microstructure area is arranged on the first surface or the second surface and close to the surrounding edge, and the optical plate is further provided with a plurality of first microstructures located in the first microstructure area; and a color conversion sheet which is spliced with the optical plate and is positioned in the accommodating space. Therefore, by arranging the first microstructures on the optical plate, the number of times that light passes through the color conversion piece can be increased, sufficient correction light can be excited, and the problem that blue edges or bluing can appear
