Abstract | The invention relates to an SNP molecular marker and application thereof. The molecular marker is located on a roselle anthocyanin synthetase gene ANS, the base of purple-fruit roselle with high anthocyanin content is A, and the mutant base of white-fruit roselle with low anthocyanin content is G. The molecular marker DYSNP1 is closely linked with the character of the roselle purple fruit, the anthocyanin content of a roselle sample can be reflected by detecting genetic information of the roselle sample at the DYSNP1, and the molecular marker is of great significance to genetic breeding and identification of germplasm resources.
