Abstract The invention relates to the technical field of alloy resistor cutting processes, in particular to a cutting method for improving the blanking efficiency of alloy resistors. The cutting method comprises the following steps that 1, the produced and manufactured sheet-shaped alloy resistors are detected according with a cutting standard, and if the sheet-shaped alloy resistors are detected to be qualified, the sheet-shaped alloy resistors are cut, and if the sheet-shaped alloy resistors are not detected to be qualified, re-production and manufacturing are needed until products are qualified; 2, qualified sheet-shaped alloy resistors are pressed on a steel wire cutting machine to be pressed on a wire net; 3, a guide wheel of the steel wire cutting machine drives a cutting steel wire in high-speed operation; and 4, mortar mixed by polyethylene glycol and silicon carbide micro powder is conveyed to a cutting area through the cutting steel wire of the steel wire cutting machine, continuous friction is generated bet
