Abstract | The invention discloses a traffic sign recognition method based on a mobile robot, and the method comprises the following steps: employing a mobile robot load camera to shoot traffic signs, carrying out the marking, and making a traffic sign data set in a working environment; the mobile robot operates and collects road condition information in real time through a load camera, and a single-frame image at the current moment is preprocessed; based on a machine vision method, detecting the position of a region where a traffic sign possibly exists, and segmenting a candidate region; further identifying whether a traffic sign exists in the candidate region image based on a CNN network, and if yes, correcting the range of the candidate region and further judging the category of the candidate region; otherwise, deleting the candidate region; generating a traffic sign detection frame on the original single-frame image; sampling a plurality of frames of road condition traffic sign recognition results in real time to ob |
