Abstract The invention discloses a polyion compound of hyaluronic acid-epsilon-polylysine hydrochloride as well as a preparation method and application of the polyion compound, belonging to the field of medical biological materials. The polyion compound of hyaluronic acid-epsilon-polylysine hydrochloride disclosed by the invention has good mechanical properties and strong adhesive capacity, and can effectively prevent a dressing from falling off from a wound; the polyion compound has good self-healing capability, and can realize self-healing in a short time after the dressing is broken due to external force; the polyion compound has good antibacterial ability, and has a good inhibition effect on gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria; and the polyion compound has good cell compatibility, and the use of a cross-linking agent is avoided through electrostatic compounding.
