Abstract | The invention discloses a metal and ceramic connector and a connecting method thereof, and belongs to the field of metal and ceramic connection. The metal and ceramic connector is of a sandwich layer structure, ceramic is wrapped in metal, and the connecting method comprises the following steps: firstly, performing high-temperature oxidation on the ceramic, performing alloy vacuum casting on a surface-oxidized ceramic sheet, and finally, performing clamping heat treatment on the poured layered composite material, so that metallurgical bonding is generated between the flaky ceramic and the metal. The ceramic is packaged and bound by utilizing the difference of thermal expansion coefficients between metal and ceramic and the interfacial compressive stress generated by lattice difference, so that the mechanical property of the ceramic is improved, and the ceramic is prevented from splashing during fracture.
