Abstract The invention discloses a thiourea dioxide production process, and belongs to the technical field of fine chemical engineering. The reaction time of thiourea dioxide produced by a reaction kettle of 2 m is shortened to 3 hours from original 8 hours, so that the productivity is improved. The heat conduction rate of cetyl alcohol ester is high, the material temperature can be rapidly reduced, reaction heat can be timely removed, energy consumption is reduced, and loss of a cooling unit is slowed down. When the materials initially enter the reaction kettle, the reaction condition is good, the side reaction is less, the forming of the thiourea dioxide crystals is facilitated, the thiourea dioxide crystals generated by the reaction are stable, the particles are larger and uniform, and the particles in original 50-200-mesh distribution with 50% of 100-200 mesh are concentrated to particles in distribution of 20-70-mesh with 90% of 50-60-mesh. The crystal hardness is improved from the original grade II to grade IV.
