Abstract | The invention relates to a variable stiffness module and a modular flexible variable stiffness driving mechanism. In the variable stiffness module, a base is rotatably connected with a cam; a flat head shaft is rotated with an output shaft of a stiffness motor; a stiffness adjusting structure comprises a T-type lead screw, a spring compression block, a guide supporting frame, a spring structure, a connecting block and a cam follower, and the T-type lead screw is rotated with the flat head shaft; the spring compression block is in bolted connection with the T-type lead screw, and is slide along the guide supporting frame, and the spring structure is connected with the spring compression block and the connecting block; the cam follower is installed on the connecting block; and the inner contour wall of the cam is meshed with the cam follower, and the outer contour wall of the cam is connected with an external load.
