Abstract The invention relates to an ultra-wideband antenna with a three-notch characteristic. The antenna comprises a middle dielectric substrate, a top radiation patch layer arranged on the upper surface of the middle dielectric substrate, and a bottom grounding plate arranged on the lower surface of the middle dielectric substrate. The top radiation patch layer, the middle dielectric substrate and the bottom grounding plate are connected to form a whole antenna, the top radiation patch layer is connected with a microstrip transmission line, and a square resonant ring with a leftward opening is arranged on the left side, close to the microstrip transmission line, of the top radiation patch layer and is used for achieving ITU frequency band notch characteristics.
