Abstract | The invention provides a demister unit which can ensure the capability of removing moisture from EGR gas and can simply configure the internal structure of a demisting box. The demister unit has: a demister tank having a demister inlet part communicating with the washing tower unit and a demister outlet part through which washed EGR gas flows out; a moisture removal unit through which the EGR gas passes and which captures and removes the washing water; and a rectifying plate. A flow path for separating a gas-liquid mixed fluid flowing in from the washing tower unit through the demister inlet part into washed EGR gas and washing water is formed in the demisting tank. The moisture removal unit is disposed in the demisting tank in a way of constituting a part of the flow path.
