Abstract | The invention discloses a text erasing and character matting method based on a U-shaped residual network. The method comprises the following steps: constructing a training set and a standard answer graph, manufacturing a natural scene image containing characters, and generating the standard answer graph; preprocessing a training set; extracting features, inputting the natural scene picture containing the characters into a U-shaped residual network for training, and extracting information; image reconstruction: splicing the output features of the plurality of U-shaped residual networks, reserving the low-frequency information of the image through residual connection, and outputting the image in combination with the high-frequency information analyzed by the automatic encoder; deeply supervising and optimizing a U-shaped residual network; and circularly training the network until a required standard is obtained.
