Abstract | The invention discloses a novel steel rail composite energy consumption vibration and noise reduction device, which relates to the technical field of steel rail noise reduction equipment. The device comprises a plurality of resonant cavities arranged on two sides of a steel rail, wherein the resonant cavities on the two sides are arranged from top to bottom, a damping cavity is arranged on the outer side of each resonant cavity, and the resonant cavities are separated from the damping cavities through elastic films; two permanent magnets with opposite magnetic poles and a metal piece located between the two permanent magnets are arranged in each damping cavity, one end of the metal piece is connected with the elastic film, and the other end of the metal piece is fixed to the side wall of the damping cavity through an elastic piece.
