Abstract | The invention relates to the field of forest improved variety seed orchard cultivation, in particular to a method for constructing a single-stock multi-variety liquidambar formosana hance seed orchard. The method comprises the steps that a liquidambar formosana hance rootstock planted for one year is subjected to ultra-low-position trunk cutting and stump reserving, low-position bud germination promoting, multi-coppice-shoot fixed-angle cultivation and low-position coppice shoot multi-variety grafting; and a growth regulator is sprayed to scions with weak growth vigor after grafting survival,and balanced growth of the scions is promoted. By implementing the method, the liquidambar formosana hance rootstock is subjected to low-position trunk cutting and stump reserving and germination promoting, three robust coppice shoots are reserved and cultivated in each stump, one variety is grafted to each coppice shoot, and the liquidambar formosana hance seed orchard with multiple strains on one seed tree is formed.
