Abstract The invention provides a gamma ray irradiation resistant polyurea elastomer material and a preparation method thereof, which belong to the crossing field of high polymer material synthesis and nuclearirradiation modification. The material is formed by mixing a component A isocyanate, a component B polytetramethylene ether di-p-aminobenzoate, an antioxidant aid and the like under high pressure, coating and pouring. The mass part of the component A is controlled to be 20-30, the mass part of the component B is controlled to be 65-75, and the mass part of the aid is controlled to be 5-10. The gamma ray irradiation resistance of the polyurea material is improved by using the hindered phenol antioxidant, and the influence of gamma ray irradiation on the toughness of the synthetic material is adjusted by using the reactive diluent.
