Abstract The invention relates to a gear shifting device. The gear shifting device concentrates mechanisms in the rotating circumferential direction of a gear shifting body. In the shifting device (10), an extension protrusion plate (46B) extends and protrudes downward from a knob (44). Here, the extension protrusion plate (46B) constitutes a guide mechanism (26), a restriction mechanism (56), and a detection mechanism (66).
