Abstract | The invention provides a road route forming method and device suitable for the traffic industry. The method comprises the steps: obtaining kilometer pile data, determining a matching point matched with a kilometer pile in a preset electronic map according to the kilometer pile data, and enabling the matching point to divide a road in the electronic map into a plurality of road segments; and combining the plurality of road sections according to the matching point, the preset starting point pile data and the preset terminal point pile data to form road route vectorization data. By implementing the method and the system, when a road route suitable for the traffic industry is formed, a traffic department does not need to complete a surveying and mapping process, and professional surveying andmapping work does not need to be carried out according to industry pipeline requirements during route surveying and mapping; a kilometer pile is positioned to an existing electronic map, and routes ofthe electronic map are re |
