Abstract The invention discloses an improved ultrasonic partial discharge detection device, which improves the working efficiency in the partial discharge detection process of GIS equipment, reduces the laborintensity and ensures the personal safety. The device comprises a partial discharge sensor used for detecting GIS equipment and a partial discharge host. The partial discharge sensor is adjusted to anangle attached to the surface of the GIS equipment through an adjusting assembly; and the adjusting assembly is connected with an insulating rod.
