Abstract | The invention discloses an alloy preheating process for smelting high-alloy steel in a converter steelmaking process, and relates to the technical field of converter steelmaking. The alloy preheatingprocess comprises the steps of preheating steel ladle preparation, preheating steel ladle protection, first-batch alloy adding, first-batch alloy baking preheating, second-batch alloy adding, second-batch alloy baking preheating, alloying steel ladle preparation and preheating alloy ladle transferring, wherein during alloy material adding, one half of the total amount of alloy is added in each batch, and adding is carried out according to the sequence of the melting points of the alloy from low to high. The refining alloying time can be shortened by 70% or above, the influences of low production efficiency and unstable molten steel quality caused by long-time heating alloying of a refining furnace are greatly reduced, continuous production can be guaranteed, and the product quality is improved.
