Abstract The invention provides an anti-backlash type double-view-field infrared thermal imaging lens and a using method thereof. The adopted scheme is as follows: the lens comprises a zoom group and a rear fixing group which are connected together in a matching manner, the zoom group comprises a zoom lens cone and a zoom driven wheel. The zoom driven wheel is arranged at the rear part of the zoom lens cone and can rotate around the central axis of the zoom lens cone; an anti-backlash mechanism and a motor are mounted on the rear fixing group; a driving gear is mounted on the motor; the driving gear isin meshed connection with the zoom driven wheel; the anti-backlash mechanism comprises a constant-force spring, a spring rotating shaft and a spring guide assembly; the constant-force spring is woundon the spring rotating shaft, the extending end of the constant-force spring is connected to the zooming driven wheel, the constant-force spring bypasses the spring guide assembly, the spring guide assembly plays a role in te
