Abstract | The invention relates to a range extender starting control method and device, a vehicle control unit and a medium. The method comprises the following steps: according to the current rotating speed andthe current water temperature of a range extender, the target output torque of an ISG motor in the range extender is determined, wherein the current rotating speed and the target output torque are inversely proportional; and the ISG motor is controlled to perform power output according to the target output torque so as to drag an engine in the range extender to operate; and when the next rotatingspeed of the engine reaches the target rotating speed, the engine is controlled to inject oil for ignition, so that starting of the range extender is completed. According to the method, vibration andnoise in the starting process of the range extender can be reduced.
