Abstract | The present invention relates to a method to capture notes written by a user on a medium through an electronic pen and an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a communication unit configured to receive pen data about the notes from the electronic pen; a display configured to visually reproduce the notes and a progressive bar related to the notes; an input unit configured to receivea user input for the progressive bar; and a control unit configured to control the display to reproduce the notes based on the pen data, set a target section based on the user input, and capture at least part of the notes corresponding to the target section from the whole notes.
