Abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of bridge deck pavement, and particularly relates to a gradient functional bridge deck pavement material and a preparation method thereof. The gradient functional bridge deck pavement material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 10 to 25 parts of pouring type asphalt cement, 75 to 90 parts of mineral aggregate, 1 to 2 parts ofsteel fiber and 0.4 to 1 part of additive, wherein the mineral aggregate comprises light aggregate, common aggregate and mineral powder, and the light aggregate accounts for 1-99% of the total mass ofthe mineral aggregate. The density difference between the light aggregate and the common aggregate and the cementing material is utilized, the paving top surface is enriched with the light aggregate,the effect of enhancing the interlayer shear resistance is achieved, the bottom surface is enriched with the common aggregate and the cementing material, and the deformation compliance is fully exerted.
