Abstract The invention discloses a surface hardening treatment method of materials for an eccentric shaft. The method comprises the following steps that firstly, washing is carried out, at first, an acid pickling solution is prepared, then the prepared acid pickling solution is placed into a washing tank, and then the eccentric shaft needing to be treated is placed into the washing tank, and taken out after 20 minutes; secondly, after being washed, the eccentric shaft is flushed cleanly with ethyl alcohol, and placed for over 2 hours; thirdly, surface treatment of the eccentric shaft is carried out, anair compressor is utilized, and a sprayed material is aligned to the surface of the eccentric shaft for sand blasting; fourthly, a first abrasive material is prepared, and the first abrasive materialcomprises 40% of silicon carbide, 30% of aluminum oxide and 30% of SiO2; fifthly, the first abrasive material prepared in the fourth step and the eccentric shaft in the step three are placed into a first abrasive material tan
