Summary:A system for returning a nuclear power station to a safe state after an extreme event includes a feed pipe, a discharge pipe, a steam generator, a storage tank, and a heat exchanger, and further comprises a separating tank which is disposed higher than the steam generator and is connected by two pipes to the storage tank, a pump, and a control unit. The heat exchanger is mounted in the discharge pipe; a first water valve is mounted in the feed pipe. The separating tank is connected to the storage tank by a pipe having a second water valve mounted therein and by a pipe having a first air valvemounted therein. Also claimed is a method for returning a nuclear power station to a safe state after an extreme event. The group of inventions increases the operating safety of a nuclear power plantin the case of extreme events by providing the possibility of lowering the temperature of a coolant to below boiling point while preventing the likelihood of hydraulic shocks in the system by separating steam and water. 一种用于在极
