Abstract | The invention provides a disc-type insulator surface silicone rubber coating layer removing agent and a preparation method and application thereof, wherein the removing agent can rapidly and stronglyremove a coating layer at room temperature without damaging an insulator. The removing agent comprises the components in percentage by mass: 2%-4% of tetramethylammonium hydroxide, 10%-15% of ethanol,8%-15% of diethylamine, 35%-45% of tetrahydrofuran, 5%-12% of ethylene glycol phenyl ether, 5%-12% of N-octyl pyrrolidone and 3%-5% of a penetrating agent; or 2%-4% of potassium hydroxide, 10%-15% ofethanol, 8%-15% of diethylamine, 35%-45% of butanone, 5%-12% of dimethyl sulfoxide, 5%-12% of butyronitrile and 3%-5% of penetrant; or 2%-4% of sodium ethoxide, 10%-15% of ethyl alcohol, 8%-15% of diethylamine, 35%-45% of butanone, 5%-12% of ethylene glycol phenyl ether, 5%-12% of N-octyl pyrrolidone and 3%-5% of a penetrant.
