The invention discloses a method and a device for preparing natural gas. The method comprises the following steps: separating CO and N2 from a first gas mainly containing blast furnace gas or/and converter gas by a pressure swing adsorption method, removing N2 from a system, mixing the N2 with a second gas which is subjected to second impurity removal pretreatment and mainly contains coke oven gasfor methanation reaction to obtain natural gas, wherein the gas obtained after the second gas is subjected to the second impurity removal pretreatment mainly contains H2, and the content of nitrogenis smaller than or equal to 3.4%. The invention aims to provide a process for preparing natural gas meeting the standard requirements by taking blast furnace gas and/or converter gas and coke oven gasas main gases through multiple treatment steps.
