Abstract | The invention discloses a projection device and a projection method thereof. The projection device comprises a picture update rate conversion chip, a spatial light modulation circuit and a control circuit. The picture update rate conversion chip performs picture update rate conversion on a first video signal to generate a second video signal. The control circuit is coupled to the picture update rate conversion chip and the spatial light modulation circuit, and adjusts the resolution and the picture update rate of the projection image generated by the spatial light modulation circuit accordingto the picture update rate of the second video signal.
