Abstract The invention discloses a collection trace evaluation method of an observation system and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps of constructing a lithologic bodyspeed model according to the lithologic body characteristics of a simulated rock area; converting the lithologic body velocity model into the reflection coefficient model seismic data based on a reflection coefficient expression; calculating the pre-stack migration coverage spectrum seismic data of the observation system; obtaining a three-dimensional data volume of the simulated rock area according to the reflection coefficient model seismic data and the pre-stack migration coverage spectrum seismic data; slicing the three-dimensional data volume, comparing the slice with the corresponding simulated rock area, and judging the size of the acquisition trace of the observation system.
