Abstract | The invention provides an underwater image enhancement method of multi-scale fusion image feature information. The method disclosed by the invention comprises the following three processes: firstly, solving color cast by adopting dynamic threshold white balance; secondly, enhancing image contrast, separating high-frequency information and low-frequency information through homomorphic filtering, enhancing the high-frequency information through gradient field double-interval histogram equalization, processing the low-frequency information through Gamma correction, and adjusting the image exposure degree; and finally, based on the image contrast, saturation and optimal exposure, fusing the high-frequency information, the double-interval histogram output image and the Gamma-corrected low-frequency information by adopting a multi-scale fusion strategy to obtain an enhanced image.
