Abstract | The invention discloses a deceleration strip identification method, comprising the main identification steps: acquiring a road image by a vehicle-mounted camera; preprocessing the acquired image; segmenting the image by using an Otsu method; extracting the edge of the deceleration strip in the image by adopting an improved canny algorithm; extracting a straight line where the deceleration strip ispossibly located through hough transformation and angle screening; and determining a straight line where the deceleration strip is located through extraction of the gray blocks. By means of the deceleration strip identification method, the driverless vehicle can be helped to quickly and accurately recognize the deceleration strip on the road, and deceleration processing can be conveniently conducted in time, and technical support is provided for popularization of the driverless vehicle.
