Abstract | The invention discloses a parametric modeling method for a water conveyance canal based on a three-dimensional digital earth. The method comprises the following steps: S1, acquiring parameter data ofthe water conveyance canal; S2, generating a virtual mapping template of the water conveyance canal; and S3, expressing the water conveyance canal through a terrain system. On the basis of the digitalearth platform, the construction method for what you see is what you get of the water conveyance canal is provided, and the water conveyance canal with real expressive force is rapidly generated on the digital earth platform through a parameterization method. The terrain system is adopted to express the water conveyance canal, natural seamless fusion of the water conveyance canal and the basic terrain is achieved, the reality is better met, and the water conveyance canal can be conveniently combined with a vegetation system so as to be more realistic.
