Abstract | The invention discloses a hard disk automatic switching device based on FPGA and an application method thereof. The device comprises a hard disk group; an embedded controller connected with each harddisk in the hard disk group; an FPGA in communication connection with the embedded controller; an MCU connected with the FPGA through an SPI bus and used for controlling and monitoring the working state of the hard disk pack; wherein the MCU is in communication connection with remote monitoring equipment through an Ethernet protocol conversion chip so as to receive corresponding starting and/or switching control signals. The invention provides an automatic hard disk switching device based on an FPGA, which can select a starting hard disk through remote control and automatically switch to another starting hard disk to realize normal starting when the default starting hard disk has a fault.
