Summary:The invention relates to the technical field of brake systems, in particular to an electrostatic powder spraying process for the surface of a cast iron brake. The specific process comprises the stepsthat a brake casting after dehydrogenation treatment is rinsed for at least two times; the rinsed brake casting is passivated; the passivated brake casting is rinsed and then dried; the dried brake casting is subjected to partial shielding treatment; the brake casting is fixed on a support in a suspension manner for spraying treatment; the sprayed brake casting is subjected to baking curing treatment; and the brake casting after baking curing is cooled to the normal temperature. Compared with the prior art, the electrostatic powder spraying process has the advantages that the whole technological process of the brake is adjusted, a surface coating of the brake casting has good adhesion, meanwhile, a machined surface of the brake casting has corrosion resistance the same as that of conventionally-electroplated parts
