A opinion dictionary expansion method is provided, which may include the following steps: calculating a plurality of representative field vocabularies of a targeted field from a plurality of vocabularies; extracting a plurality of candidate opinion vocabularies from the vocabularies; dividing the candidate opinion vocabularies into a plurality of groups according to the similarities of the candidate opinion vocabularies; and selecting a plurality of positive seed vocabularies and a plurality of negative seed vocabularies from the representative field vocabularies and calculating the semantic orientation of each candidate vocabulary of each group according to the positive seed vocabularies and the negative seed vocabularies. 本发明公开了一种意见词汇扩充系统和一种意见词汇扩充方法，该意见词汇扩充方法包含下列步骤：由多个词汇中计算出代表一目标领域的多个领域代表词汇；根据一词性组合由该多个词汇中抽取出多个候选意见词汇；根据该多个候选意见词汇的相似度将该多个候选意见词汇分为多个群集；以及由该多个领域代表词汇选择出多个正向种子词汇及多个负向种子词汇，并根据该多个正向种子词汇及该多个负向种子词汇计算各个群集的各个候选意见词汇的情感倾向。
