The invention aims at providing a multifunctional pipeline robot which is used for achieving the technical purposes that the robot can walk in pipelines with different slopes or diameters for a long distance so as to be matched with different functional assemblies to polish, clean, spray paint or detect the interiors of the pipelines. A multifunctional pipeline robot comprises a control system, asupporting frame mechanism, a diameter adjusting mechanism, an auxiliary guiding mechanism, a positioning and adjusting mechanism, a storage battery and an extended function connecting port. The supporting frame mechanism plays a role in mounting and fixing other functional parts; the diameter adjusting mechanism adapts to steel pipes with different sizes and pipe diameters by adjusting the radialsupporting distance. The auxiliary guiding mechanism plays a role in assisting in supporting and walking; the positioning and adjusting mechanism is used for positioning and mounting the diameter adjusting mechanism; the stor
