Abstract | The invention discloses a biodegradable polypropylene composition and a preparation method thereof. The biodegradable polypropylene composition is prepared by the following raw materials in parts by mass: 65-80 parts of a polypropylene random copolymer, 10-20 parts of PBTA, 3-5 parts of a compatilizer, 10-15 parts of a polylactic acid, and 0.5 parts of a heat stabilizer. Through adding two types of synthetic resin of the degradable PBAT and polylactic acid to a polypropylene matrix, the prepared polypropylene composition has a biodegradable property. In addition, because any natural high-molecular compounds are not added, the biodegradable polypropylene composition has good product appearance and processability, and higher in product purity. At the same time, the added compatilizer is capable of guaranteeing that a polymer raw material workpiece has good compatibility, so the product has a good mechanical property, and an application range is extensive.
