Abstract | The invention relates to a production method for an electric porcelain insulator. The production method comprises the steps of pugging; guiding the mud into a mud billet extruding device; extruding the mud material into a rod shape by the mud billet extruding device; cutting the rod-shaped mud billet into sections; receiving of rod-shaped mud billet; perforating at the center of the mud rod; cutting and molding the outer wall of the mud rod; unloading the molded billet to a receiving device; drying the billet; glazing on the dried billet; and roasting and molding the glazed billet. The production method is high in efficiency and high in molding quality.
