Abstract | The invention relates to a charging station device with one or more charging stations (110, 111, 311) for wirelessly transmitting electric energy to a vehicle (100, 300). Each charging station (110, 111, 311) comprises a base unit (111) which is designed to generate an electromagnetic charging field during a charging process in order to transmit electric energy to the vehicle (100, 300) and a transmitting and/or receiving unit (323) which is designed to receive a request signal from a transmission unit (201) of a vehicle (100, 300) or to transmit the request signal to a receiving unit of the vehicle (100). The request signal lies in any range of a plurality of different frequency ranges. The receiving unit (323) is additionally designed to ascertain a signal strength of the received request signal.
