Abstract The invention provides a diode clamp mixed three-level double-active full-bridge current transformer. Based on the double-active full-bridge current transformer, a two-level bridge arm at a primary side is replaced with a diode clamp three-level bridge arm, thereby adding an additional control variable, and enabling the topology to be suitable for a wide-voltage range application occasion. The invention further provides a control method at the same time, the four degrees of freedom global optimal control is realized based on the primary side zero level duty cycle, the primary side high-level duty cycle, the secondary side zero level duty cycle and four phase-shifting controlling quantities between the primary side and the secondary side of the diode clamp mixed three-level double-active full-bridge current transformers; by coordinating the four control variables of the current transformer, the current effective value is reduced, and the current transformer running efficiency is improved.
