Abstract The invention discloses a method for determining early turn-on time of electric bicycles at a signalized intersection, which fills in the problem that the existing mixed traffic flow signal timing does not consider the disturbing influence of electric bicycles on vehicles. The method comprises the following steps: 1, analysis of the interference mechanism between vehicles and non-vehicles during the green light: 1) analysis of the interference phenomenon between vehicles and non-vehicles: (1) analyzing a frequency change of track points of the electric bicycles to obtain an aggregation degreeand diffusion distribution of the moving tracks under the conditions of a free flow and a dense flow; (2) further quantizing the effect of expansion release on vehicles, and counting the interaction between the average density of electric bicycles and the average travel time of vehicles in different green light stages; and (3) when the number is large, appearing that it is especially necessary toset early turn-on for elec
