Disclosed are methods and systems for alerting a user to a change in an audio stream. In an aspect, a user device of the user receives the audio stream, detects a change in an audio pattern occurringin the audio stream according to user configurable rules, wherein the detection of the change in the audio pattern occurs when the audio stream is muted, and in response to the detection of the changein the audio pattern, provides an alert to the user that indicates the change in the audio pattern has occurred. 公开了用于警告用户音频流的改变的方法和系统。在方面中，用户的用户设备接收音频流，根据用户可配置的规则来检测在音频流中出现的音频模式上的改变，其中，对音频模式上的改变的检测是在音频流被静音时出现的，并且响应于检测到音频模式上的改变，向用户提供指示音频模式上的改变已经出现的警报。
