Abstract | The invention discloses a method of microwave sintering of self-heat-insulation bricks. The self-heat-insulation bricks are prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 1-3 parts of flyash, 1-2 parts of glazed hollow beads, 1-3 parts of sodium hydroxide and 14-17 parts of a sodium silicate aqueous solution. Firstly, sodium hydroxide and silicic acid are mixed evenly to obtain the sodium silicate solution with the modulus being 1.5-2.0, and then the flyash and the glazed hollow beads are added, mixed and stirred into slurry; and after being stable, the slurry is injected into a stainless steel mold, microwave sintering is carried out, cooling is carried out, then the material is demolded and cut into the bricks. According to the method, the technology is simple, the raw materials are widely available, the preparation process is environmentally friendly, the sintering temperature is low, the sintering speed is high, and the method is suitable for large-scale industrial production.
