Abstract The invention discloses an ultrasonic honeycomb sealing device and method. The device comprises a sealing body and a gear bush, wherein the gear bush is sleeved on a rotating shaft to be sealed, and the sealing body is arranged on the outer side of the gear bush without contact; the sealing body comprises a sealing ring, a ring slot is formed in the inner side of the sealing ring, and a matrix ring, a matching layer, an acoustoelectric chip belt and a backing are arranged in the ring slot in sequence in the direction from the rotating shaft to the outside; a plurality of sealing teeth are arranged on the side, opposite to the rotating shaft, of the matrix ring at intervals; and an independent sealing interval is formed between the adjacent sealing teeth, and a honeycomb belt is arranged inthe sealing interval.
