Abstract | The invention discloses a laser-range-finder assisting-based calibration method and device of two cameras without a common view field. The method includes: respectively photographing a first target and a second target by a first camera and a second camera, measuring respective pose relationships of the first and second targets and the first and second cameras, using a coordinate system of the first camera as a global coordinate system, and using laser-range-finder assisting to improve precision of optical axis directions of the cameras in a measurement process; and calibrating a pose relationship between the two cameras without the common view field. According to the method, high-precision calibration can be realized, a relationship between the two targets does not need to be known, and only fixation connection of the two targets and a connection rod is needed; and a laser range finder used in the method is small in a size, and convenient and flexible to use, the disadvantages that external auxiliary equipmen |
