Abstract In a process for the epoxidation of an olefin with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a solvent, where a mixture comprising olefin,an aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution and a solvent is continuouslypassed through a fixed bed of an epoxidation catalyst comprising a titanium zeolite, addition of a chelating agent to the aqueous hydrogen peroxide solution before mixing it with solvent reduces or prevents formation of deposits on the catalyst and blocking of orifices of a liquid distributor. 本发明提供种在溶剂存在下利用过氧化氢环氧化烯烃的方法,其中,包含烯烃、过氧化氢水溶液和溶剂的混合物连续地通过包含钛沸石的环氧化催化剂的固定床,在与溶剂混合之前,将螯合剂加入至所述过氧化氢水溶液中,以减少或防止在催化剂上形成沉积物和液体分配器的孔堵塞。
